Vinyl FlooringBurnley & Blackburn

Waterproof, hardwearing and stylish vinyl — hundreds of designs from wood-look planks to patterned tiles.

Why choose us for vinyl flooring

Vinyl has come a long way — modern LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile) is almost indistinguishable from real wood or stone, but it's warm underfoot, completely waterproof, and copes with kitchens, bathrooms and boot rooms without complaint. We stock both sheet vinyl (the roll stuff, brilliant for a wall-to-wall kitchen fit with no joins) and LVT planks/tiles for anyone who wants that premium look.

A typical vinyl flooring job

Common job: family kitchen in Burnley that's had engineered wood go cloudy around the dishwasher — classic story. We pull it up, level the screed, and put down an LVT plank in a grey-oak finish with click-lock over an acoustic underlay. Next time the washer leaks, nothing happens. It wipes clean, it's warm underfoot, and the customer wishes they'd done it years ago.

What we offer

LVT planks & tiles

Luxury vinyl that looks like stone, slate or wood — click-lock or glue-down. Genuinely hardwearing, fully waterproof.

Sheet vinyl

Traditional cushioned vinyl off the roll — ideal for kitchens, bathrooms and utility rooms where you want no joins.

Designer patterns

Encaustic tile prints, herringbone, patterned designs — the kind of floor that gets commented on.

Underfloor heating ready

Most of our LVT ranges are rated for wet and electric underfloor heating systems.

Questions we get asked

What's the difference between vinyl and LVT?
LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile) comes in individual planks or tiles, usually 4–6mm thick, and looks more like real wood or stone. Standard sheet vinyl is thinner and supplied off a roll. LVT is a premium step up.
Is vinyl good for kitchens?
It's probably the best kitchen floor there is — warm underfoot, waterproof, won't stain, and you can drop a pan on it without cracking a tile.
Can you lay vinyl over existing tiles?
Sheet vinyl no — you'll see the grout lines. LVT with a thicker underlay can sometimes go over level tiled floors, but we'd usually recommend coming down to a proper screed first.
How long does vinyl last?
Good LVT is rated for 15–20 years of domestic use. Cheaper felt-back vinyl is more like 5–8 years. You get what you pay for.
